The conditioning room is also equipped with desiccant dryers, to further aid in the conditioning process. The OTC Candy kitchen is specifically designed for optimized gums and jelly preparation. The non-starch moulding system is specifically designed for the purpose of producing gums and jellies products using non-starch moulds. The sugar sander is a fully automatic system for continuous controlled sugar coating of moulded candies. The premix preparation represents the first step in your production process. The raw base materials, generally water, syrup, sugar and gelling agents, are mixed together before the sugar mass can be cooked. This part performs the cooking process of your pre-mixed mass. After cooking, the mass enters a vacuum vessel to remove moisture and let the temperature decrease gradually. In addition, the amount of air bubbles is reduced. Most importantly, the ABS skid ensures precise dosing and homogenuous blending. In addition, it has 4 CFA vessels on a load cell, as well as a separate load cell for each weigh- and mixing vessel. This means that you can make a up to 4 different colors, tastes or combinations of candy at the same time! The accurate depositing pump and the well thought-out demoulding process guarantee that your yield looks exactly the way it should. Unique is our use of plastic moulds, which are much easier to clean and thereby eliminate any product contamination. The Additive Blending System is the system where the sugar mass is enriched with color, flavoring, acid and optional actives ingredients. It mixes the ingredients well to ensure consistent results, after which the mixture is ready to be poured and moulded. In the moulding line the robot places the empty trays, which are then oiled to improve releasing properties. After that, the casting pump casts the candy. Then a different robot stacks the full trays on a pallet which is automatically placed in the drying room of the next skid. The moulding skid takes care of the demoulding process as well. The drying room is where, especially here in a non-starch setup, the candy is placed to lose moisture by drying. Kept at 15°C and 15Rh, the drying room will ensure the reliability and optimal result of this drying phase. The sander adds a layer sugar by heating up the candy to make them sticky, after which they are launched through the sanding drum where the sugar is spread out, effectively adding an even layer of sugar to the outer surface of the candy.
